Government
commits to comprehensive process for oil sands consultation

Edmonton...The Government of Alberta has accepted
all nine recommendations of the Oil Sands Consultation Group, chaired
by Mel Knight, MLA for Grande Prairie-Smoky. The group was established
in January 2006 to establish a process that allows Albertans to
share their vision and principles for development of Alberta's oil
sands.
