Phase II
The MSC includes a Panel, which is a specific subcommittee put
in place to conduct public consultation, including information sharing
sessions in different locations, bringing the information back to
the MSC and to seeking consensus on issues referred to it by the
MSC. Where consensus cannot be reached the differing views will
be recorded and presented to the MSC.

The 2nd phase of Oil Sands Consultations
has now been completed and no further submissions are
being accepted. The final report with recommendations
focusing on vision and principles for continued oil

will be submitted to the Ministers of Energy, Environment
and Sustainable Resource Development in June 2007. |
Phase I: [Completed]

the collected information to develop recommendations for a vision
for oil sands development and principles to assist in guiding future
